| Marathon® is a very effective way to protect your crops from aphids and whiteflies for 5-6 weeks. One application eliminates the need to spray hard-to-reach hanging baskets for these pests. |

When using this product on spring pots and hanging baskets, remember:
- Apply Marathon® as soon as active root development is taking place. This usually occurs 10-14 days after potting, while the plant is succulent and actively growing. Failure to gain control can occur if growers wait too long in applying Marathon® and the lowest leaves (which whiteflies prefer) are fully mature.
- Hand water when irrigating for the first few times after applying Marathon® without leaching. This allows for full uptake.
- Be sure to apply the exact amount as the label recommends. The label allows for a higher rate to be used, (1 teaspoon per 10"), on any herbaceous plants grown three or more plants per pot.
- Continue to scout crops for thrips in the flower buds. Marathon® does not control thrip population in the flower buds themselves.
